The working part of the feed extruder consists of two chambers:
in the first loading chamber, the raw material is ground, then subjected to high pressure and heat treatment at a temperature of 160 to 180 degrees Celsius. Next, the raw material passes through the extruder holes, where, as a result of a sudden drop in pressure, the raw material "explodes". The effect of this is the foaming of the grain, which increases its volume several times.

Als nächstes passiert das Rohmaterial die Löcher des Extruders, wo ein plötzlicher Druckabfall dazu führt, dass das Rohmaterial „explodiert“. Dadurch kommt es zum Aufschäumen des Korns, wodurch sich sein Volumen um ein Vielfaches vergrößert.
